Shawn Says:

Oooh hey, both Shamus and I forgot to post some bonus commentary before this one went live.  *whistles innocently*  I think I’ll just spend my time creating proper commentary on Wednesday’s comic.

The bonus commentary was especially deep today.

Just kidding by the way – I appreciate all the trouble you guys are going through to resurrect the comic. I’m also kinda hoping Shawn finds some free time amongst all his Clockworks stuff and Shamus find some free times from his… well everything and you guys make a few “bonus” comics

  2. Shawn says:

I have at least one bonus comic planned, that I need to get on finishing up the art for in the next month or so. ;)

  3. Shamus says:

Oh wow. Did we burn through all those comics already? Dang. This means we have, what? A dozen or so left? And they all need commentary. And some need to have their dates adjusted. This is what I should have been working on this weekend, as opposed to leveling up a character in Torchlight.

    Whoops.

  4. Nawyria says:

I noticed you hotfixed the bonus commentary :P

It suddenly comes back to me how much I enjoyed Casey’s ability to make names so very stereotypical: Douchebag the Necromancer, Grak and Klak the goblins and now General Femur, leader of the legions? of Douchebag. I always wondered what would be next, a zombie named Captain Mandible? Ivan the Terrible? Fred the farmer?

  5. Girl Gamer says:

Talk about dysfunctional! You did a great job portraying a group of people no one would ever want to play with, haha.

Of course the girl would be the only one to see what’s really happening. :p

  6. Shawn says:

Shamus – I might have spent part of the weekend finishing up the main quest of Torchlight…

    Ooops.

    No Commentary? Denied!

  8. neothoron says:

In this comic you can really see the effects of the then-new process; mainly, Shamus has seen fit to come back to the “way too many panels to draw” type of comic, recycling 3 images while Shawn draws 3 new images.

  9. Shawn says:

The crazy thing is: 6 panels is pretty standard for me these days.

  10. axilet says:

That’s ok–it’s Torchlight, after all. You guys are totally forgiven =) Anyway, the comic is awesome enough to stand on its own.

Hehe. The return of the displacer moose’s Rar.
