I was planning on continuing our “Hey, what are the various heroes up to” mini series with an Oliver comic on Friday, but I think I’ll continue this little scene for one more page. Oliver can wait until next week.

I was going to congratulate Gramps for pulling Talk To Ophelia duty, but the topic got kinda personal all of a sudden.

Woo! Finally, the Opheliacs get their fix.
I love the way the conversation continues without a reaction from Ophelia and Gramps despite what is going on the background. Seems to indicate that those types of shenanigans go on all the time in that part of their base.
That’s exactly what I was going for. The idea that Toby and his dad blowing stuff up is such an every day occurrence at this point that it’s not worth looking around unless someone starts screaming.

Ophelia just put her hair up. You can see the sticks in the first panel. Also. OLIVER! BEST CHARACTER EVER. (After Private Stevens, of course.)

This is the first time I’ve drawn Ophelia since going all digital, and she doesn’t look quite right. Which, I suppose is fitting being she’s the character I tend to most fuss over drawing.

hey so i’m new here and have never played the game so i’m sorry about my noobishness. death mage? is there a site that i can go to and get some backstory on what that means? also would that one lady/thing we saw before with the red eyes be a deathmage by any chance?
It hasn’t really been mentioned before. Basically if an elementalist (like Ophelia) dies before they give up their magic powers (how we’ve not exactly covered), they turn in to some sort of undead elemental monster called a Wight.
You’ll see one all too up close at some point.
