0125: Vitreous

0125: Vitreous

This is another one of those pages, like 0118 that I’ve had in mind since the comic began.  It feels pretty good to finish it.  All in all this is the rare page that made the translation from my head to your screen more or less as I originally imagined it.

This is also almost exactly how the battle with Lukov went originally in Clockworks: the Home Game.  Thorton moved up in to position to get a clean shot, and then made a called shot to Lukov’s other eye.  As in the comic, it was pretty successful.

See you next week, when we return to Toby, Eva, and Ophelia!

    Yep.
I like how his men don’t even notice yet. They’re too busy with their awesome action poses.
    Also: making a prediction for a comment…

Wow! Way to go Thornton! How did he get up there? Love the eye shot.

Thorton and Oliver ninja’d up at the same time Toby jumped to the other wall, as mentioned a couple of pages ago. I probably should have shown that, but I like the surprise of him suddenly being there. Maybe I’ll mention it in the next page.

  4. Chuk says:

That was excellent, total badass moment and I love the art.

  5. Kedamono says:

Poor Lukov! But I gather that the shot didn’t kill off Lukov? This means our stalwart heroes will now have an enemy with a Major grudge against them. Wanna take bets when this event will come back to bite the but of our heroes?

  6. bigben says:

Okay, I say it… He saw it coming!

Welp, it wasn’t his knee, maybe that’s next…
