Hey! It’s a new comic!
2 points for those of you who guessed Thorton hadn’t noticed Ophelia yet. Also, I’m a bit bummed that I didn’t do close ups of Lukov’s new gangmembers sooner. Those guys look pretty cool. Chances are we won’t see much more of them.

Did you see the big news on Facebook/Twitter/elsewhere last week? Clorencia Press (that’s me) is an official 3rd party publisher for Savage Worlds now! We (I) even have a fancy new logo and everything:
This was a big step for the Clockworks Savage Setting book, which is on track for a January-ish Kickstarter and then will be in your hands as soon after that as we can make it.
If you haven’t been following, the entire manuscript is up for free in Google Docs as I write it, and you can leave comments and add feedback and ask questions and all that.
You can also chime in on Facebook or Twitter. The Clockworks Facebook fan page has been pretty hopping lately as well, if you don’t already “Like” the comic. People have been hitting me up with setting questions on Tumblr. Feel free to add yours as well.

Also, if you want some Clockworksy music to listen to, Unwoman’s Casualties Instrumentals album is really good. Her normal stuff is awesome too, but for background music purposes, the instrumental album is great stuff.

It suddenly occurs to me the dissonance between today’s comic and the news post above is pretty huge. Oops. It is somewhat fitting, considering the title and contents of the page above. Just imagine this was intentional.
Anyway…
My plan is to do a second comic this week. Hopefully I can do a livestream Thursday afternoon. Keep your eyes out.

In other news, your placeholders in the setting book are hilarious, especially when I read through them expecting the content. “Air mages do stuff.” Okay. …Ohhhhhhh, it’s a placeholder. [Tries not to crack up in public.]

I’m especially fond of using “Words.” to fill a spot where words will go.
It’s going to be important to find all of those before the book is finished…
