This may be my favorite Clockworks comic yet. It just makes me happy. Today’s comic is also dedicated to all of you who’ve noted that Eva hasn’t done much in the comic lately.

This is SOOOOO great! Im such an Eva fangirl and this is just the best ” non whup ass action scene” with her in it. I love the look of ” shove THAT up your Indecorous ass!” that Eva is wearing. And cant forget Toby, hes so cute in the last panel.

Glad everyone is enjoying this one as much as I did. One thing I’ll note, I had a lot of fun drawing the two girls, especially the one in the silly hat.
Eva just gained 3 more points of awesome.
I missed this session, did this actually happen in-game ?
In game, this was a throwaway line by Eva’s player that months later popped out at me as amusing.
Behind the scenes:
The reason Grandpa, Toby and Eva went to upper city is because Toby and Eva’s players missed that session. So we shuffled them off screen for a while. When they got back, I described some of the stuff that happened in upper city, including a brief comment of “You guys got some strange looks, and rude comments from people who thought you two were a couple.” Eva’s player replied with “We should make out just to piss them off.” And that was really the extent of it. We never really said if makeouts actually happened, or if Eva just joked about them while you guys were in upper city, but from that one line grew this comic.
Well that answers that. When a big orange guy blushes he doesn’t turn red, he turns lightly crosshatched and more orange. Excellent strip, you’ve ended the year on a good note!

HA, great comic, love the stfu kiss! Even though I hate the characters because theyre cops who threw the ‘anarchist’ workers and their revolution-demanding posters in jail, at least these particular ones have some kind of anti-racist cred.
I found this comic last year (yesterday-ish) and the opening few strips drew me into the story, the art style is great and I’m especially liking the action scenes (MV#2/Gas-mask-ninja was pretty cool and MV#1 statuesque).
Anyway, great comic Shawn, looking forward to following it.
