0056: Civil

Just barely in before my noon (Central time) deadline!  Another fairly quiet comic.  Our friend the librarian should be familiar to those of you who have read/played the Gentleman Caller.

Hey, did you know you should go vote for Clockworks? Because you totally should!

That’s it for today.  See you all on Thursday when we return to the Bronze Gardens and the other half of our heroes.

New vote incentive, the super jumbo sketch of our friend the librarian about to engage in her extracurricular activities.

  2. Shawn says:

Somehow the art on this one, which looked fine in Photoshop, looks kind of like ass when shrunk down. I’ll probably go back later today and tweak things a bit.

  3. syhd says:

I bet the librarian heard about the Elevator Smooch and is channeling her disapproval by being all administrative and “this is restricted, SADLY you cannot get to it, neener”.

  4. J. Beatnik says:

    hottie librarian!

  5. pineappleleader says:

Another fine Webcomic. Sounds like the Vatican Library – all the most interesting and useful books are restricted. :-)

  6. Nicole says:

You’re too hard on yourself, Shawn. Looks great to me. :)

  7. Kedamono says:

Considering what that librarian does for fun, I’d expect her to give Toby a smooch too. :-)

  8. Mark says:

Could we get a tiny preview of the vote incentive in the future?

  9. Shawn says:

Nicole – I think this one looks much better on my laptop monitor than my main monitor, where the background is dark enough that it hides a lot of the lines on the characters. I still want to go back and tweak a few things, but it will have to wait until tonight.

Mark – not through Topwebcomic.com’s interface. I’d have to save a smaller version, upload it here and link it in the blog post. Considering how often I slap up new vote incentives, that isn’t horribly likely to happen any time soon, but it might. What I should do is start posting less ginormously huge vote incentives.

    Swank Hotel ? ^_^

I like the name of the library – “menterosa” is very close to the Spanish for liar. Just seems funny!
