Back!

Clockworks will return to it’s normally scheduled updates this week.  The new plan is to return to Tuesday/Thursday comics, but also to change the update schedule to as close to midnight (at the start of the day) as possible.   So I’ll be doing a livestream Monday night in all likelyhood as I finish up Tuesday’s comic, and will hopefully post it at 12:01 AM Central time.  If my work or personal schedule changes so that I’ll need to move updates to a different day of the week, I’ll let you guys know.

I’ll also take this chance to ramble a bit and explain the recent delays/missed updates.

As some of you know, I am a barrel full of crazy.  For the record, I have Moderate Clinical Depression, Major Clinical Depression, AND Adult ADHD.  It’s a party. (I also have Alopecia Ariata, but that’s unrelated to the comic.) I also live in America and have no health care.  Oh yeah.

Every once in a while, the Major Depression kicks in to near catatonic levels.  Thanks in part to the rerelease of Chainmail Bikini, I realized this happens like clockwork (pardon the pun) every winter.  I’m just going to assume that this is a symptom of the Depression that acts in ways similar to Seasonal Affective Disorder, and that I don’t actually have a 4th major psychiatric disorder.  ;)

Anyway, unless I manage to get my brain in better shape by next winter, this may well be an annual event.

Please, no pity or virtual hugs.  I just wanted you guys to know what’s up.  See you on Tuesday where we finally find out what happens to our brave heroes!

Is it actually possible to have both Moderate Clinical Depression and Major Clinical Depression? I mean, judging by the names you’d expect one to supercede the other. :/

I won’t give you a virtual hug, but I will express my hope that you get out of this funk soon so that you can keep spending your own time to make this webcomic that we all read and enjoy for free. ;)

No pity or virtual hugs here. Nonetheless, I offer congratulations on producing one kickass comic while still dealing with that thing called life. Clockworks makes my life better.

Hey, I know how it is to have all that stuff (plus a autistic spectrum and Tourette’s on top of it), so go you.

Shawn said, “Please, no pity or virtual hugs.”

    I can do that.

No excuses. I don’t even want to hear your pathetic excuses. Quit doping off and get back to work. Now.

    Too harsh?

(Actually.. you do rather well, all things considered. Best Wishes.)

Well, after listening to Fear the Boot for the first time led me to Chainmail Bikini led me to Clockworks here, I’m finally writing a comment. Personally, I think your stuff is great, and I’ve been meaning to say that for the last few days, so it’s not just pity. I look forward to the comic continuing, and wish all these great gaming communities weren’t so far away so I could actually play with people. Oh well, I’ll always have my play by posts.

Sorry about rambling. I’ll just go back to watching the comic from the shadows.
