What’s this all about?

Clockworks is what the hip cool marketing people call a Transmedia Property.  It didn’t intentionally begin that way, but it’s how it has developed.  Clockworks is a steampunk/fantasy comic, and also a RPG setting, and one day home to all kinds of cool fiction and games and art and craziness.  The story actually began it’s life at the gaming table.  Clockworks is a loose retelling of the events of my homebrew Savage Worlds campaign.

Clockworks: the Home Game lasted for about a year, as our heroes travelled the world and fought mad villains and went on daring adventures.  Once the comic has finished the entire tale, it will end.  I’ll maybe take a break or move on to a sequel or just go paint tacos.  I keep revising upwards the length of time the comic will take to complete it’s story.  My current guess is 5 to 10 years, with 8 as my best guess.  So dig in, we’ll be here a while.
