Creative Commons, not Crowd Control.

Clockworks is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike license.  I’m opening up both the world and the comics themselves for you guys to share, remix, and play with.

Here are the basics:

You can copy or distribute Clockworks in any way you want.

You can alter and remix the comics in any way you want.

The Restrictions:

You must attribute the original to me, Shawn Gaston creator of Clockworks.

You can not make any money off of your copies or derived creations.

You must include this exact same license on whatever creations you make.

That’s it, pretty basic.

Why? Well, in a perfect world everything would have that license as far as I’m concerned.  I’m not at all a fan of modern copyright laws, as I think they’re far too restrictive and last far too long.  After some thought, I decided it was time to put my comic where my mouth is.
